Cloud Heater CH1 is an attractive, quiet, and smart 800-1350 Watt space heating device that heats your space, filters your air, and can even pay you back for some of your electricity you already spend heating your home. At 800 Watts, it can heat a room, and at 1350 Watts, it can heat a small home.
A Cloud Heater CH1 can also be a full-time virus-scale air filter! We provide a free MERV-13 air filter with each installation, along with a standard MERV-8 replacement filter, so you can have cleaner air now.
To top it all off, a Cloud Heater CH1, properly connected to your WiFi, can earn you MONEY BACK on your cost of heating if you already use electrical baseboard, wall, or space heaters in your home. We can do that by "CompHeating": using a computer to heat your space instead of just making a brain-dead curly wires glow.
A Cloud Heater CH1 is not just a heater, its furniture made to look great. CH1 is available either as a small, attractive, and functional 14"x14"x30" bench, or as an even smaller footprint upright console.
CH1 is built for people, not engineers, so it uses an "old school" thermostat that's easy to set - one that doesn't require a computer or phone to control. After connecting it to your WiFi, using a Cloud Heater CH1 is a breeze.
A normal electric space heater heats coils of wire or some ceramic, and maybe blows air at it. The amount of heat that an electric space heater produces is exactly the same as the electricity it consumes. A 1200 Watt space heats at a rate of 1200 Watts and consumes 1200 Watts of electrical power.
A Cloud Heater heating system quietly heats up a computer, instead, to produce the SAME amount of heat at the SAME cost as a similar wattage space heater. Put simply, "A Computer is a 100% Efficient Heater". The result is heat and computing capability, with the same electricity as a normal electric space heater. We auction that compute capability to help make the "Cloud" work - a Cloud Heater CH1 does math, and that lets us PAY YOU for using it!
To crank out its quiet heat, a Cloud Heater harnesses hundreds of high efficiency computer chips to do math - lots of very valuable math that we sell through modern cloud computing wholesale markets. You're using the same electricity with a space heater or a Cloud Heater, so get something back in the process!
If you are eligible (see below) Heat with Benefits LLC will provide you with a FREE Cloud Heater CH1 to use in your home or other space. We lease it to you for exactly $0 a month. We don't charge you a penny, because our computer-based heaters are so efficient, they can pay us back for the heater AND PAY YOU, using the proceeds of its marketed math genius!
If your home has typical insulation and airflow, one 1300 Watt Cloud Heater CH1 should handle normal seasonal weather for about 1000 square feet. Newer multistory and well insulated homes may heat well with just a single Cloud Heater on the lowest floor. Single story and poorly insulated homes may require multiple Cloud Heater devices to cover the entire space.
If you're looking to heat just a single room, consider our lower powered (800 Watt) Cloud Heater Junior. You get the same 24/7 air filtering, but with a smaller computer designed specifically for areas of less than 500 square feet.
Not at all! You don't need a smart phone or computer to use a Cloud Heater CH1. We take care of the technical nonsense so you can concentrate on being warm, breathing fresher air, and earning benefits!
While you do need to connect it to your home WiFi network so it can earn for you, setup is simple through the TP-Link Tether application for iPhone and Android. Using the included quick setup guide, a typical heater can be installed and configured in about ten minutes.
In order to do useful work, and to earn for you, a Cloud Heater must have access to the Internet. Cloud Heater CH1 connects to standard 2.4 WiFi common in most homes. Setup is the only technical step, and that's handled via a simple smart phone application! Most homes can readily provide the approximately 2-4 megabits per second data rate necessary to do useful math on demand and earn for you.
Cloud Heater devices are surprisingly quiet - Quiet park or light wind quiet. The slight sound a Cloud Heater does make is designed with an ear for pleasant "white noise" that you'll hardly notice. It can even help mask other less pleasant sounds.
In addition to being genius heaters, Cloud Heater CH1 devices are high quality air filters too! CH1 systems even come with a free MERV-13 air filter and can run 24/7, to give your space a breath of clean air. While you can turn it off, we don't think you'll want to.
After the free filter is dirty, just buy another inexpensive and standard 12x12x1 to replace it. We suggest a MERV-13 quality filter to clean your air with virus-scale particle removal. Or, we can send you one automatically, and deduct the cost from your benefits, whenever the Cloud Heater CH1 decides it has a dirty filter. In other words, you don’t have to buy new filters – Heat with Benefits can send you new MERV-13 filters at zero out-of-pocket expense!
Changing the filter is simple - just turn it off, push the old filter up, pop it out, and put in a new one. Changing the filter regularly can help you to earn even more back when you use a CH1 to heat.
Heat with Benefits, LLC, will deliver a FREE Cloud Heater CH1, a standard (MERV-8) air filter, and a premium MERV-13 air filter (to help you rid your space of airborne particles as small as some viruses).
Shipping and handling may apply for delivery, depending on market area.
Heat with Benefits shares the income from all that math. If you don't make money, we don't! You can earn back as much as 25% of the electrical cost used by a Cloud Heater CH1 to heat your space each month.
Each month that you host a Cloud Heater CH1, we will pay you back up to one quarter of what that free Cloud Heater CH1 earns, in exchange for the right to "CompHeat" with your electricity. If you’re already heating with traditional electric heaters, you’re already paying for the heat, so switching to a Cloud Heater CH1 heater can lower your net electric bill by paying you back. Electricity costs the same regardless of whether it’s a traditional heater or a Cloud Heater.
We will even tell you what it cost to heat your space each month by providing a usage report along with your benefits statement.
Cloud Heater CH1 units use between 8 and 13 Amps via a standard US 120V 60Hz three prong grounded outlet. A 15 Amp circuit is required, with at least a 15 Amp breaker, as is common in most modern US homes. YOU MUST HAVE A GROUNDED 3-PRONG OUTLET.
Never use a Cloud Heater CH1 on the same outlet or circuit as another electric space heater. Never use a Cloud Heater CH1 with a broken or loose electrical outlet. Avoid using a Cloud Heater CH1 on the same outlet or circuit as a vacuum cleaner or other motorized device.
While a dedicated circuit is optimal, it is not required. When using a Cloud Heater on an electrical outlet, it may "throw" a breaker if other high-power devices are using the same household electrical circuit.
If you have a properly grounded, properly wired, undamaged, three prong outlet that doesn't have anything else plugged in to it, and is on a household circuit with ample capacity, a Cloud Heater will likely heat, filter, and earn without problems.
If you've been using electric baseboard heat, wall heaters, space heaters, or even a whole house traditional electric furnace, you should not see any additional cost to heat with a Cloud Heater CH1 in a manner similar to how you already heat. If a Cloud Heater CH1 heats a space, your existing heating systems won’t have to. So, as a Cloud Heater CH1 uses electricity, it may also be reducing your existing heating costs to the same degree.
At a typical 12 cents per Kilowatt Hour ($0.12 per kwh) energy cost, a Cloud Heater CH1 running at 1300 Watts constantly will cost approximately $112 per month. Most customers use their heaters less often, and at a lower average power, seeing a full month of heating cost around $80-100
Keep in mind that, if you were already using traditional electric space heating, you were already paying for that electricity to get the same amount of heat. It's just that, before the Cloud Heater CH1, you couldn't get paid back for heating like a genius.
Earnings vary according to heater use and computing market conditions. The median Cloud Heater CH1 earns a little more than $13 per month for people hosting them, for each month they are used! Earnings range from $6 to about $25 per month for our typical customers who use a Cloud Heater for a month. The more you use it, the more it earns!
Yes. While Cloud Heater devices are expensive, in households that have used a Cloud Heater and are earning more than $15 per month for each Cloud Heater they run, we can provide additional systems free of charge.
No. Your Cloud Heater CH1 is provided under a $0 per month lease and it remains the property of Heat with Benefits LLC. You earn benefits because Heat with Benefits leases the electricity you use to heat with a properly connected Cloud Heater CH1.
Not much, really. Just plug it in to a suitable outlet and use the TP-Link Tether application on your iPhone or Android device to connect the Cloud Heater CH1 to your home WiFi network. Once it's connected, the heater will automatically go get a new math job from our servers and start earning you benefits!
Use the simple and standard "old-school" thermostat on the Cloud Heater CH1 to tell it how warm you want your space. Obviously, a Cloud Heater isn't going to earn anybody anything if it's not making heat. Once you’ve connected to WiFi and crank up the thermostat, we’ll PAY YOU BACK for as much as 25% of your heating cost from using your Cloud Heater to heat!
At the end of each month, we calculate the total of what all of your Cloud Heater CH1 devices earned (a percentage of what those CH1 devices earned overall while you were running them), and automatically pay you. Or, if you prefer, we can retain your balance in dollars until you are ready to get what you have earned. Regardless, you have the option to be paid at the end of each heating month if your earnings plus balance are more than $5.
You may select from several payment methods:
· A monthly automatic check ($1 fee per check)
· Payment through Venmo (free to receive. Venmo may or may not charge for withdrawal or use)
· Bitcoin transfer to a provided BTC wallet address (market BTC transfer fees apply)
Note: Balances that are less than $5 will be retained and combined with future earnings until the balance exceeds $5.
A Cloud Heater device can only compute, and earn, when it is producing heat. While some areas may benefit from year-round heating, most Heat with Benefits LLC customers only earn benefits during their regional heating season (4 to 8 months a year).
If you don't use your Cloud Heater CH1 during the summer, simply turn it off, unplug it, and either return it to Heat with Benefits LLC or store it for next season! When your next heating season starts, just plug it back in and dial up the heat.
Heating through any plug-in electrical outlet-based space heater has inherent risks not limited to poor home electrical circuits, overloaded circuits, thrown circuit breakers, overheated outlets, tripping hazards, and fire risk. Read the important safety materials provided with your Cloud Heater CH1 or view the PDF version at https://hwbpublic.s3.amazonaws.com/CloudHeaterCH1UsersGuide.pdf
Cloud Heaters, based on computer chips, run at less than 180 degrees (F), making them lower risk than heating coils that can reach several hundred degrees. At their hottest, a Cloud Heater does not produce heat necessary to ignite paper, fabric, curtains, or furniture.
While Heat with Benefits LLC and its employees or contractors may be able to reconstruct your heating habits, based on when a heater asks for and completes its math jobs, no other information is captured or transmitted to our servers or elsewhere except as required to install, operate, and maintain the equipment.
Your personal information, provided in order for Heat with Benefits to locate its heaters and to pay you when you earn, is strictly controlled and is not provided to third parties for any purposes other than order taking, delivery, installation, ordinary business recordkeeping, payment processing, and equipment recovery.

While hacking and internet security are a concern for any device you allow on to your WiFi network, Cloud Heater CH1 equipment was designed and built by a team with more than thirty years of computer, network, and internet security experience. Our servers are carefully locked down, too, so you can rest assured we can detect and manage risks in the course of ensuring your heater is operating to our high expectations.
CH1 devices don't contain sensors that could capture personal information, and math jobs they perform don't contain anything except math job definitions, math results, and performance information.
WiFi connection is performed by a commercial off-the-shelf WiFi device, from a well-regarded networking company, and through a well vetted application with thousands of positive app reviews. If you'd prefer to connect via Ethernet cable, CH1 supports that too!
Just email heatwithbenefits@gmail.com to let us know you're done with your heater and we will arrange pickup and return of a heater.
